Description The Park Cottages have been created out of original farm buildings in a quiet rural location half a mile from the village of Yeaveley. The cottages are recently renovated to a high standard yet retain much of their original character providing the highest quality of holiday accommodation. Set in 6 acres of land, which we share with a variety of animals, both wild and domestic. The park provides a quiet location and offers an ideal base for touring by car, or walking in many of the beauty spots in the nearby Peak District. The wealth of minerals and fascinating geology of the area have provided natural caverns and many interesting features which are well worth a visit. The Park is just 3 miles south of the small historic market town of Ashbourne with its unspoilt Georgian buildings and fast growing reputation for fashionable shops. Other amenities in the area include clay pigeon shooting, trout fishing, golf, swimming and squash (in Ashbourne), Alton Towers (7 miles), many stately homes (Chatsworth, Kedleston, Sudbury Manor) and the Heights of Abraham at Matlock Bath (14 miles).
