The cottages are adjacent to the owner's farmhouse and within easy reach of many local attractions. Bakewell is 7 miles, Buxton 7 miles, Chatsworth 6 miles, Matlock 12 miles, Hope Valley 12 miles.
There are many picturesque walks from the doorstep. Monsal Dale is literally just around the corner and Miller's Dale is only a short walk away. It is ideal for those wishing to explore the rich diversity of life and landscape within the Peak District.
Albertine Barn - sleeps 8
The cottage has a large cart entrance with glazed doorway, flagstone entrance hallwayand an attractive upstairs/balcony. There are 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms - one of which is on the ground floor.
Maigold Cottage - sleeps 4
Is a single storey conversion offering accommodation "all on one level." Accommodation includes a spacious lounge with beamed ceiling and traditional log burning stove (an initial supply of fuel is provided). It has been tastefully decorated and furnished and contains a piano, colour TV, DVD and video tape player.
There is an attractive double bedroom with exposed roof trusses and an external door to the patio area. The twin bedded room has a beamed ceiling.
They have both been fitted out to a very high standard and offer spacious accommodation. Many interesting features including exposed beams and roof trusses have been retained. Both cottages have ample secure parking, garden and courtyard areas next to the cottage. Pets and smoking are not permitted.
